Itinerary
Arrival: Arrive in Leh by morning. Rest for a few hours to acclimatize to the high altitude. Afternoon Local Sightseeing: Shanti Stupa: Enjoy panoramic views of Leh and its surrounding mountains. Leh Palace: Visit this ancient palace to get insights into the region's history. Market Walk: Stroll through the Leh Main Bazaar for a taste of local culture and shopping. Evening: Return to your hotel for an early dinner and rest. Overnight: Stay in Leh
Morning:Drive to Nubra Valley: Cross the famous Khardung La Pass (one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 18,380 ft). Afternoon in Nubra Valley: Diskit Monastery: Explore the monastery, famous for its large Maitreya Buddha statue and incredible views of the valley. Hunder Sand Dunes: Take a camel ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels and enjoy the scenic sand dunes. Evening: Check in to your accommodation in Nubra Valley (Hunder or Diskit). Overnight: Stay in Nubra Valley.
Morning: Drive from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route (about 5-6 hours). Afternoon at Pangong Lake: Pangong Tso: Arrive at Pangong Lake, known for its vibrant blue and green hues and stunning mountain backdrop. Photography & Relaxation: Spend the afternoon taking photos, relaxing by the lake, and enjoying the changing colors of Pangong. Evening: Check in to your lakeside camp or guesthouse. Overnight: Stay at Pangong Lake.
Morning: After breakfast, start your journey back to Leh, passing through Chang La Pass. On the Way Stops: Hemis Monastery: One of the most famous and largest monasteries in Ladakh. Thiksey Monastery: A beautiful, multi-level monastery that resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Shey Palace: Former summer residence of the royal family of Ladakh, with a scenic hilltop location. Evening: Return to Leh and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight: Stay in Leh.
Morning: Transfer to Leh airport for your departure. End of Tour: Leave with memories of Ladakh’s stunning landscapes and unique culture.
