Upon arrival at Leh airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Check-in to the hotel and enjoy welcome tea/coffee. Take the day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. Yes, acclimatization is essential due to the high altitude. The first day of the itinerary includes rest to help you adjust.
Essentials include warm clothing, a good pair of walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and any personal medications. Also, bring layered clothing to adjust to varying temperatures.
Leh has several ATMs, but Nubra and Pangong have limited connectivity. It’s advisable to carry cash and inform loved ones in advance about possible limited phone access.
You will stay in comfortable hotels in Leh and Nubra Valley, and cozy camps near Pangong Lake. Each accommodation offers basic amenities suitable for high-altitude travel.
